About Beauty

Meet Beauty! She is an adorable 8-month-old Catahoula Leopard Dog who is eager to find a loving family. Beauty came to the shelter as an owner surrender when her family welcomed a new baby, leaving her in an environment where she can't fully expend her youthful energy. This energetic girl has plenty of spirit and excitement. While she’s a good dog at heart, she can get wound up and mouthy, typical traits for her age and breed. Beauty needs an understanding adopter who knows she requires guidance and structure to thrive. An active person or family who loves to be outdoors and is willing to engage in training will be a great match. Catahoulas are intelligent and athletic, bred for work and action. This means Beauty benefits greatly from positive reinforcement training, mental challenges, and interactive play. With the right support, she’ll grow into a well-mannered adult dog. She deserves to be in a home where her energy is welcomed and her sweet nature valued. Beauty doesn't require perfection from day one; she needs an owner who will invest in her journey. With patience, boundaries, and love, this girl has loads of potential. Could you be the one to guide Beauty in becoming the amazing companion she is destined to be?
