About Robert Smith

Meet Robert Smith, your meow-sical match! He arrived at a foster home as a friendly stray on Friday the 13th and quickly showed his affectionate and vocal personality. With his unique obsidian coat and golden eyes, Robert fits right into the goth category, especially with his playful spirit and tendency to ‘hunt’ objects around the house, bringing them to you as gifts—plastic plant pots included! Robert loves attention but is not fond of being locked away. Instead, when you say “Let’s Go To Bed,” you can find him snuggling next to you or rolling on his back, inviting belly rubs (though he’s known to prefer to just dare you to pet him). His vocal antics are endless; he expresses himself with a sweet meow, whether you ask him how he’s doing or call him from another room. Although playful and affectionate, he would thrive best as an only cat, as he doesn’t typically get along with other felines or kids. With a keen love for food, Robert requires set mealtimes to keep his belly in check, but he constantly purrs for affection, seeking a close bond. If you’re looking for a loving companion who is always eager to be near you, Robert Smith may be your perfect match. He is currently in a foster home in Royal Oak, MI.
