About Gemma
Adopt Gemma! Gemma is a delightful ~1-year-old, 40 lb girl who brings joy wherever she goes. She’s sweet, playful, and loves everyone she meets. Rescued from a shelter after a paw injury, she’s fully healed and ready for her forever home! Being a puppy at heart, she’s always enthusiastic about playtime. Gemma has a natural curiosity and follows her humans around, eager to be involved in everything they do. She treasures her toys, especially chew toys, and loved being part of her family's activities. Gemma is potty trained and crate trained. She knows how to sit and is currently improving her leash skills and house manners. She may get a bit overzealous with her affection, but she’s learning to manage her excitement. She enjoys playful interactions with other dogs and may benefit from having a canine companion, although she’s just as happy being the center of attention. While she has a bit of a prey drive with bunnies, we can't confirm how she feels about cats. Kids are her favorite! Gemma has bonded well with her foster family's 3-year-old but would likely do best with slightly older children due to her energy. An active family that can continue her training and keep her engaged will be a great match! Ready to bring home this sweet girl? Click apply to start the adoption process.
