Iris is a lovely 2-year-old, 45-pound Pit Bull mix who arrived from another shelter as a stray. Initially a bit shy, she opens up to reveal a warm, affectionate personality. With time and trust, she transforms into a snuggly companion eager to follow her human around. Iris thrives on companionship and would do well in a home where she can bond closely with her owner. As part of our Paws Forward Program, she benefits from three free training sessions with Janette from Kind K9s after adoption, helping her flourish even more. She just needs a caring individual to help her come out of her shell and become the remarkable dog we know she can be. If you can't adopt, sharing her story could make a difference!
