Ranger is eagerly waiting for a family to call his own. This 55-pound Shepherd mix has missed out on too much of life but still approaches every new person with hopeful curiosity. He loves belly rubs and has a knack for leaning against your legs just to feel close. Recently, he experienced the comforts of home for the first time in a long while, waking up to the joy of a morning routine, going on hikes, and even sharing space with little dogs and a senior companion. He’s house trained and crate trained, making him an easy addition to any household. Ranger's friendly nature makes him great with children and he gets along well with dogs of all sizes. This intuitive boy is happiest just being near those who take the time to show him love. The saddest part is knowing he could fit into most homes perfectly but simply hasn't had the chance yet.
