About NoraTuscarawas

Meet NoraTuscarawas! She’s a spirited Shih Tzu with a delightful personality who fills her days with zoomies and joyful walks. Nora loves being outdoors, curling up in cozy spots, and, above all, enjoys mealtime—carrots are her special treat! Nora is a wonderful mix of independence and affection. She enjoys following her people around and believes in making a grand entrance when anyone arrives, complete with a wagging tail. This little lady has a soft spot for men and would thrive with someone who values her company. She has a friendly disposition with other dogs, although she appreciates her space and prefers those who won’t demand constant interaction. A patient introduction is key, as Nora can be a bit shy at first. She also is perfectly happy as an only dog soaking up all the love and attention. Nora is house trained when kept on a schedule and is good about signaling when she needs to go outside. She enjoys her time in the yard, so a secure fence is essential for her comfort. While she is sensitive to sudden noises, she settles down quickly with gentle reassurance from her human companions. Despite a bit of stiffness in her hip, Nora remains active, enjoying walks and her playful bursts. Though she has medication available for any needed support, she’s been thriving lately. She’s looking for a loving home where she can continue enjoying her daily adventures, snuggling in soft beds, and indulging in ear rubs and the occasional cooked carrot. This affectionate girl has plenty of love to give and is eager to join a family where she can share it. Nora is being fostered in Central Ohio and has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on all vaccinations. She’s ready for her forever home!
