About Jack

Meet Jack! Jack is a charming Rat Terrier mix around 7 to 9 months old, weighing about 14 pounds. He’s nearly at his full adult size, which means he’s set to remain a small and delightful companion. Rescued alongside his sister Jill from a Texas shelter, Jack is excited about finding his forever home. This playful little guy has a friendly temperament. He adores running around and is outgoing with both people and dogs. Jack gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive with a furry companion in his new home. He’s shown curiosity toward cats, but it’s essential to introduce him appropriately and give him time to adjust. Jack is still learning the basics of training. He’s working on house training, crate training, and walking on a leash. His new family should be prepared to continue this training routine as he settles in. While Jack came into rescue with his sister, adopting them separately will help each build their own confidence and form unique bonds with their families. He's up to date on vaccinations and will come with a health certificate before adoption. Jack is ready to be a sweet and social little companion to one lucky family! What are you waiting for?
