About Ami

Ami is a lovely six-year-old Great Pyrenees weighing about 65 lbs. She spent many years guarding goats until her owner’s passing led her to the rescue. Ami is a gentle soul, perfectly housetrained, and gets along well with dogs, cats, children, and even goats, donkeys, and chickens. While she has tested positive for heartworms, there are manageable treatment options available. She is calm in her kennel, which is a relief since many flock guards can find confinement challenging. Ami is ready for a new chapter where she can be loved and cared for in a forever home. If you're interested in making Ami a part of your family, don't hesitate to reach out and learn more about her adoption process.
