About Oscar
Meet Oscar, a delightful 1.5-year-old poodle/terrier mix. He's a bit taller than a typical poodle and weighs around 17 lbs. Oscar has faced challenges in his early life. Previously kept in a backyard, he was under-socialized and timid around new people. After being surrendered to a shelter in South LA, he was initially overlooked while his brother found a home. Oscar has made great strides since then, especially after his brother's adoption. He was rescued and learned quickly that he'd need extra time in his new environment. With some dedicated work, he has been crate trained and is improving on leash walks. Recently, he completed a two-week boot camp with Humble K9 in Chino, where he thrived. He has grown protective of his foster mom and will benefit from an experienced owner who understands the importance of continued training. His journey to build confidence is ongoing, and he needs someone kind who can dedicate time to help him grow. Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He's healthy and as cute as a button. If you're ready to invest in Oscar's future and help him gain more confidence, please submit an adoption inquiry form.
