About Lilly

Lilly is ready for a new adventure! This spirited 7-year-old spayed female Labrador Retriever mix weighs a perfect 45 lbs and is currently in foster care in Houston, Texas. After narrowly escaping being put down at a crowded shelter, Lilly has blossomed into a loving companion, eager to share her life with a new family. She may not be a puppy anymore, but don’t let her age fool you—Lilly is full of energy and loves outdoor activities like playtime with tug-of-war toys and energetic walks where she can explore her surroundings. She's a curious mix of independence and affection, often staying close to her loved ones, earning her the nickname "velcro dog". Lilly currently lives with another dog and does well with canine companions, although she truly thrives on human interaction and will gladly share her kisses with everyone she meets. While not tested with children yet, her gentle demeanor suggests she would likely adapt well with respectful older kids. She is both crate-trained and potty-trained, showing good manners in the home. Lilly would do best in a moderately active household where she’ll have access to the outdoors and spend quality time with her humans.
