About Gecko

Gecko is a black male domestic short hair who arrived at Northwood on July 23, 2026, after being found as a stray. Estimated to be just 8 weeks old and born on May 23, he has quite a story to tell. After enduring severe eye infections and other health issues, including a courageous recovery from low blood sugar and neurologic symptoms, he's finally on the mend. He also battled coccidia, a specific type of tapeworm, and a ringworm infection, but all are now successfully treated. Gecko is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations. Despite his rough beginning, he has bounced back and is ready to find his forever home. If you’re looking for a resilient companion, Gecko could be the one for you. What are you waiting for?
