About Six Toes

Six Toes is a remarkable polydactyl cat who has transitioned from the streets of Gowanus, Brooklyn, to the comfort of indoor life. After spending years in survival mode and charming the locals, this gentle giant is now seeking a loving home where he can thrive. Despite his past, he is friendly and seems to crave human companionship, which indicates he may have had a home before. He’s still adjusting to his new environment, so we are looking for a patient and experienced adopter who can help him find his footing. With a strong motivation for food and the beginnings of playful behavior, Six Toes is ready to bond with the right person. He is neutered, vaccinated, and he has tested positive for FIV but remains healthy and full of love to give. If you’re interested in meeting him, please fill out an application.
