About Harlow

Sweet Harlow is an almost 2-year-old Chihuahua mix who was found scared and alone in a chaotic shelter with her tiny puppy. She showed incredible resilience as a mom, caring for and protecting her baby, who has since found a forever home. Now, it's Harlow's turn to shine. Harlow is sensitive and may need some time to adjust to her new surroundings. Initially cautious, she requires a patient adopter who can help her gain confidence and trust. Once she feels secure, she reveals her loving and gentle nature. Earning Harlow's trust is a rewarding experience. To help Harlow acclimate, her future adopter will need to meet her on her own terms, which may include several visits to the Thrive facility to bond and reassure her. Although she's a little nervous, she’s worth the wait and will give back so much love in return. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out a formal adoption application on our website, as this allows the Adoption Team to understand your lifestyle and family better. They will reach out to guide you through the next steps in the adoption process.
