About Eddie & Lester

Meet Eddie & Lester! These two bonded boys have overcome more challenges than any cats ever should. Eddie, the orange tabby, spent over a year surviving in an abandoned building in South Buffalo, relying on the kindness of a couple who fed him through all sorts of weather. He formed a special friendship with Lester, a brown tabby and white cat, who was released back to the streets after a TNVR project. Sadly, Lester faced a tough winter alone when his mom didn't return. After suffering a serious injury that left him without a tail, he was finally rescued alongside Eddie. Now in safety, they are adjusting to the comforts of indoor life. Eddie is a total couch potato who adores belly rubs and is FIV+. He can happily coexist with non-FIV cats. Lester takes some time to warm up but enjoys gentle pets when ready. He has a history of urinary blockage and requires prescription food for life, which Eddie can eat too.
