About Harvey

Harvey is an 11-year-old Chihuahua with a vibrant personality packed into his small frame. This charming senior was previously adopted through Stop the Suffering and lived happily with his family until a new, mobile infant made him uncomfortable. Described as a little "cat-like," Harvey enjoys affection but values his space just as much. He’s not keen on busy households or lots of social engagements. Instead, Harvey prefers a calm home where he can settle into a routine, find cozy spots, and spend time with people who understand seniors like him. Due to his discomfort around small children, he will not be placed in homes with young kids. We want Harvey's next transition to be smooth and comfortable for everyone involved. Recently, Harvey underwent surgery to remove an eye that was causing him chronic pain. After this procedure and a dental clean-up, he has transformed into a much happier pup. While he’s adjusted to being a one-eyed gentleman, his character shines through even more. At this stage of his life, Harvey is simply looking for a peaceful environment that allows his quirky personality to flourish. He’s ready to be someone's cherished companion.
