About Perona

Perona came into care on August 3, 2026, after her previous owner decided to surrender her. True to her name, she’s a delicate soul who thrives in a serene environment. Perona enjoys her cozy corner with her toys, happily entertaining herself while watching the world go by. When new visitors arrive, she prefers to make her presence known gradually—often retreating briefly to a safe hiding spot before deciding it’s okay to peek out and assess the situation. Loud knocks at the door can add unnecessary stress, so she’s best suited for a calm home. With the right patience and a quiet atmosphere, Perona will exhibit her gentle nature. She appreciates affection but prefers it in small, thoughtful doses. She has cohabited peacefully with familiar cats but prefers to avoid dogs. A dog-free home or one that allows for secure spaces would be ideal. Perona is independent and does not require constant company to be content. Please remember to bring a carrier if you decide to adopt! Perona is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, eagerly waiting for her forever home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
