About Wonkey Donkey D
Meet Wonkey Donkey! This 11-month-old, 35-pound pup is a delightful mix of Pit Bull Terrier and Staffordshire Bull Terrier. With a big heart and even bigger tongue, he doesn’t quite understand personal space. He’ll happily join you on the couch, curl up at your feet, or cuddle as close as possible. Though he’s new to his foster home, Wonkey has made friends quickly. He adores his foster family’s 8-year-old, showering him with cuddles. Gentle with everyone he meets, he’s an affectionate boy looking to share his love. Currently, Wonkey is waiting for bilateral luxating patella surgery, so his activity is a bit limited. Once he’s healed, his energetic, playful side will shine through. For now, he handles his constraints with grace, being easy to carry and navigating stairs gently. Wonkey had a successful introduction to a cat. They observed each other calmly, and when the cat wandered off, he just moved on, showing no inclination to chase. He’s still learning his puppy manners; he knows how to sit and communicates well when he needs to go outside. Potty training is going smoothly, and he's adapting well to his routine. He’s surprisingly good in his kennel, settling quietly and enjoying his naps. He interacts well with his canine roommates and loves to play with dogs who share his enthusiasm. And let’s not forget that comically large tongue, always flopping out and adding to his quirky charm. Wonkey Donkey is a loving puppy in the early stages of his journey. He’s eager to fix his knees, learn good manners, and eventually explore the joy of running and playing. Meanwhile, he’d be more than happy to snuggle close, nibble on grass and flowers, or take a car ride with you. He’s ready to become the affectionate companion you’ve been looking for.
