About Pearl

Meet Pearl! She's a delightful young lady who has adapted to her foster home as if she's always belonged there. Pearl adores children and plays well with other dogs, always wanting to be close to her family. If you sit down, be prepared for her sweet face to be right close to yours, as personal space isn’t her thing. Pearl is both housetrained and crate trained, handling her crate without any anxiety. She walks decently on a leash and has yet to show destructive chewing habits. Knowing "sit" and "down," she’s eager to learn more commands. Being food motivated and very smart, she just needs to refine her youthful exuberance, particularly that jumping when excitement strikes. Although Pearl has a bit of a prey drive around cats—she’ll chase if they run—she can remain calm during their interactions if they stay still. A home with cats would need to ensure supervised meetings and continuous training. Playful, affectionate, goofy, and eager to please, Pearl is ready to give all her love to a family who will cherish her fun personality and include her in all aspects of their lives.
