About Amora

Amora is an 11-month-old Labrador Retriever mix with a friendly disposition and weighs around 40 lbs. She's on the shorter side, standing knee-high, and has been in rescue since she was just three months old. Initially terrified and feral, she has gradually learned to thrive in a loving environment. Her adaptability shines through as she gets along with dogs of all sizes, from tiny 2.5 lb pups to larger 70 lb companions, and she’s particularly gentle around seniors and disabled dogs. Amora is 100% house trained, handling long hours alone without accidents. She even opts to sleep peacefully underneath her foster's bed at night rather than a crate. Active and playful, she enjoys her chew bones and toys, and she’s got the basics down with commands like sit, come, stay, and no jump, responding well to both voice and hand signals. Treats motivate her, making further training easy. However, she is apprehensive about a leash, so a fenced yard is essential for her well-being. Her foster uses a 4-foot welded wire fence without any issues. Amora is ready to find a loving forever home where she can continue to flourish. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
