Meet Charlie! This young pup's journey began when a family stumbled upon him and another puppy while setting off for a fishing trip in Northeast Houston. The two were thin, hungry, and battered, clearly in need of rescue. Thankfully, this compassionate family took them in and reached out to our rescue, where they now thrive in foster care alongside dogs and children. Charlie is a cheerful, goofy boy with a unique ear that adds charm to his personality. He's neutered, crate-trained, and nearly fully potty trained. He responds to his name and knows some basic commands, making him a smart companion. Charlie adores kids and plays well with other dogs. He loves diving into tug-of-war games and enjoys cuddling close, whether on the couch or snuggled up in bed. While he's shown curiosity around cats, he remains a bit unsure of them. Charlie is also very food-motivated, which will help with his training, and walks beautifully on a leash. As an active and intelligent boy, he thrives in environments that provide daily mental and physical stimulation. His foster mom has noted how eager he is to please and how easily he picks up new skills.
