About Sasparilla
Welcome Sasparilla to the Mission! This sweet gal is likely a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, originally from Post Falls Animal Shelter, where she was found wandering. Estimated to be born on September 28, 2022, Sasparilla embodies both courage and resilience. With two sides to her personality, she balances the brave spirit of a sporting hound with an endearing awkwardness—she may even have a bit of a timid streak, especially when other dogs are sniffing her. It's important that her new family provides patient guidance and clear structure to help her build confidence and develop self-control. Sasparilla is crate trained and enjoys her meals from a food puzzle. She walks well on a leash although she is still refining her manners. She seems to be potty trained and rides well in the car. Sasparilla gets along with dogs, cats, and children, but she'll need a little coaching on how to interact—she's still gaining her social skills. Sasparilla is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $200, which covers her leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, medical records, and a complimentary consultation with a behaviorist to help ensure a smooth transition into her new home. Thank you for considering Sasparilla as your new companion!
