About Gus

Gus is a stray puppy from Elmo, Montana, who was rescued and quickly blossomed in foster care. At about 20 lbs, he’s still very much a baby, complete with baby teeth and that endearing puppy scent. This little guy is a true velcro pup who loves to be by your side. He'll let you know if you've ventured too far away. Although he may take a moment to warm up, Gus is quick to trust and will happily show you his belly for some affection. He’s not shy about seeking kisses right from the start. Gus gets along wonderfully with his resident foster sister and all the neighborhood dogs, and while he hasn't been around cats yet, it seems he’s got a gentle disposition. His foster mom was pleasantly surprised to find he already knows how to sit on command. Whether he’s a prodigy or just had a loving home before, one thing’s for sure—Gus is set to bring a lot of joy to his forever family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
