About Charles

Charles is an 8-year-old cat with a story to tell. After being surrendered to a city shelter by his lifelong caregiver, he faced a difficult transition. Now in a foster home, he quickly revealed his lovable, confident self. Living life with blindness in one eye, he explores his environment with surprising agility. From discovering new spaces to snuggling on laps, he brings warmth and joy wherever he goes. This vocal and playful boy loves to engage, whether it's wrestling with toys or enjoying calm moments with people. While he's a bit rough around the edges in play, he thrives best in adult or quieter homes where he can build relationships at his own pace. Charles would be happiest as an only cat but could potentially coexist with a calm feline friend, given his slower understanding of social cues. Ultimately, Charles is a true companion, ready to bring joy, entertainment, and plenty of affectionate purrs into your life. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
