About Chopin

Chopin is a charming 2-month-old mixed-breed puppy currently at Heartland Animal Shelter in Wheeling, IL. He arrived from southern Illinois with his mother and siblings, sadly dumped when they were just over four weeks old. Now, Chopin is full of love and excitement, ready to find his forever family. This little guy adores cuddling with humans and fellow pups alike. Once he’s done snuggling, it’s playtime! Chopin is eager to please and already shows impressive skills with puzzles. He’s neutered and current on his core vaccinations appropriate for his age. Remember, he will need a rabies vaccination at four months and a Heartworm test between six to seven months, which will be the adopter's responsibility. As a young puppy, anticipate spending some time on housebreaking and training with positive reinforcement methods. Given his friendly nature, Chopin can live harmoniously with other dogs and is good with kids. Come meet this little bundle of joy soon! Click apply to start the adoption process.
