About Carolina Gold

Meet Carolina Gold! This lovely four-year-old Bluetick Coonhound arrived at the rescue with her adorable litter of puppies. Most of her pups have found homes, but now it's Carolina's turn. She radiates sweetness and has a laid-back vibe. While she came to us with a harmless mass on her neck and a slight limp due to an old hip injury, neither affects her daily life or happiness. Carolina embodies the spirit of a hound—independent and curious, she loves to explore and sniff around outside. When it comes to affection, she enjoys it when she’s ready, making her a delightful companion. Carolina is smart and walks well on a leash, plus she’s already house trained. She can be a bit shy around men and would benefit from some additional training to help boost her confidence in meeting new people. If you're a hound lover, Carolina Gold might just be the perfect match for you! Could you be the one to give her the best life she deserves? Apply to adopt today!
