About Heidi
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Heidi! Heidi is a 10-month-old, 40 lb Labrador Retriever/Staffy mix who joined us from an overcrowded shelter. This cheerful girl has a lively personality and plenty of adventurous energy to keep you on your toes. Heidi is playful, strong, and loves to bounce her way through life. She would thrive in an active household that enjoys daily walks and outdoor activities. While she does well with other dogs, Heidi’s spirited nature means she could benefit from continued training focused on appropriate play and social skills. As a young dog, she needs a family dedicated to her basic obedience, handling, and socialization. Her intelligence and eagerness to engage make her a pleasure to train. Think agility or nose work—Heidi’s enthusiasm shines when she’s learning something new. She could be a great fit for dog-savvy kids aged 10 and older, as her enthusiasm can be bouncy and a bit mouthy. Heidi will keep you smiling as you guide her toward becoming a well-behaved adult. With consistency and proper boundaries, the journey will be just as enjoyable as the destination. Heidi is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and will be spayed. Her adoption fee is sponsored at $0. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
