Dex is a large, young male American Staffordshire Terrier mix, approximately 2 years and 5 months old. He has a short coat that's black and white/cream in color. Fully house trained and neutered, Dex is also up-to-date on vaccinations. He's currently located in Mooresville, NC and has not yet been assigned a weight.

Dex is a 1.5-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix currently fostered in Houston, TX. This smart and loyal dog forms deep connections with his people and thrives on interaction and security. He’s playful and loves engaging games like tug-of-war and fetch. What stands out about Dex is his ability to read other dogs' social cues. If a playmate isn’t interested, he backs off respectfully. On the leash, he walks calmly without pulling, showing excellent behavior around other dogs. House trained and crate trained, Dex goes into his crate readily and sleeps quietly. He can be trusted alone in the house, provided he’s had enough playtime. However, due to his strong prey drive, he isn’t a fit for homes with cats or small animals. Although he’s been around children, he grows nervous and would do better in an adult-only home or with older teens who understand canine boundaries. With his people, Dex is incredibly affectionate, enjoying cuddling and close companionship. An ideal home for him values training, outdoor activities, and continued socialization.
