About Sandy
Meet Sandy! This cheerful Shepherd mix puppy is on the lookout for her forever home. At just 10 months old and around 40 pounds, she’s ready to embrace all that family life has to offer. Sandy is finally experiencing the comforts of a foster home and is soaking it all in with joy. With that adorable shepherd face and those impressive ears, she’s hard to resist. Sandy is house-trained, meaning she knows to take care of her business outdoors without any accidents. She enjoys the company of dogs, getting along nicely with her older foster brother, albeit with a tendency to swipe his toys! Her crate training is still a work in progress, as she prefers to cuddle up with her humans at night. An affectionate girl, she has a special bond with her foster parents, particularly during mealtime. Food is a great motivator for Sandy; she takes treats gently and is eager to learn new commands. She adores outdoor adventures, especially calm walks through parks and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard for those fast-paced zoomies. While Sandy is still exploring the world around her, she can be a bit nervous around busy streets and loud noises. She requires a patient family willing to help build her confidence. Sandy is not recommended for homes with cats due to her prey drive, and she hasn't been around children yet. If you think you could be the guiding shepherd she needs, apply today!
