About Bambi

Meet Bambi, also known as Bam Bam! This fluffy little pittie mix is about 1 year old and weighs around 45 lbs. She is spayed and ready to find the forever family she’s been waiting for. Bambi's journey began in difficult circumstances. Found as a tiny puppy in a Los Angeles junkyard, she suffered from severe mobility issues and had screws in her stomach, likely due to poor breeding. Luckily, the compassionate team at Women United for Animal Welfare stepped in and completely sponsored her care. After months filled with love and therapy, Bambi has made a remarkable recovery. She gets around just fine, although she does have a little hitch in her giddy-up! Don’t let her past define her—Bambi has a heart full of joy. She's a true social butterfly, loving other dogs and adoring people. She believes everyone she meets could be her new best friend. Bambi even shined at Camp TAPpy Tails, winning the hearts of all the kids. Having spent several months in her foster home, she’s fully adapted to San Diego life and is now ready for the next chapter. Bambi is playful, loving, goofy, and incredibly deserving of a family that can see beyond her little wobbly walk. Those who have met her know: Bambi is something truly special. If you're searching for a happy, affectionate, dog-friendly companion who greets the world with a wagging tail, Bam Bam might just be your perfect match. Click apply to start the adoption process.
