About Ella

Meet Ella, a sweet little senior who deserves all the love and comfort in her golden years. This 7.5-pound Maltese came to us from a crowded shelter, where she faced the world almost completely blind and deaf. Imagine the confusion and fear of an elderly pup in such a situation. After arriving, she was matted severely and needed a complete shave, but with care, Ella is starting to look and feel much better. Despite her challenges, Ella is a bundle of joy. She loves to cuddle and will sit on your lap, soaking up affection and enjoying belly rubs, her little tail wagging with delight. While she spends a lot of her day napping, she also loves her short outdoor explorations, eagerly sniffing the garden before finding her way back inside. Ella is house-trained as long as she's taken out 2-3 times a day. She gets along wonderfully with children, cats, and dogs alike. Ideally, she would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can be lavished with the attention she deserves. At least 12 years old, Ella is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and has a clean bill of health. This little lady may be aging, but she is full of spunk and love. Ella is waiting for a forever home where she can enjoy her days like the royalty she is.
