About Luna
Meet Luna, a magnificent Alaskan Malamute with an enormous heart. At five years old and 124 pounds, this gentle giant thrives on love and companionship. She’s looking for a new home due to her owner's health issues. Luna is friendly and easygoing, enjoying both people and pets alike, whether it's lounging near her family or joining in on their daily life. Currently living in Milwaukie, Oregon, with dogs, cats, and kids, Luna gets along beautifully with everyone. She may take a bit to warm up outside her familiar circle, but slow introductions will help her adjust. This confident girl showed a charming personality during her evaluation, displaying her fun-loving spirit with some joyful zoomies. Luna will need an adopter who is patient and willing to help her learn new skills, such as leash manners and how to explore the outside world. She has some separation anxiety from being free to roam at home, but she is house trained and settles well when her loved ones are nearby. Health-wise, she has seasonal allergies that require monthly injections, and she is currently working to shed some extra pounds. Ideal adopters will be committed, affectionate, and ready to help Luna manage her health while cherishing her lovable disposition. This sweet companion is waiting for a family who will guide her as she embarks on her next chapter. Think you could be the perfect match? Apply today!
