About Precious

Meet Precious, a delightful 7-pound Yorkshire Terrier, around 4 years old, and recently rescued from Abilene. This friendly little girl gets along well with other dogs and is incredibly loving. Precious has been spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. While she tested positive for heartworm, she received treatment before arriving here. She will continue her recovery with 30 days of Doxycycline and another injection soon. Despite her medical journey, she's sweet and ready for a new home. Currently, Precious has been adjusting well in the shelter, often using a potty pad area, suggesting she may be house trained or easily trainable. We're also beginning leash training with her. Precious enjoys a good balance of outdoor adventures and cozy cuddle sessions. She has a modest energy level and will thrive in a loving home.
