About Ben

Meet Ben! This one-year-old survivor is ready to leave behind a tough start and embrace a bright future—preferably while snoozing in the backseat of your car. At a healthy weight of 22 pounds, Ben resembles a Whippet, Terrier, or Feist mix with his tall, lanky frame and athletic stance. His journey has been challenging; he was rescued from a hoarding situation in a Houston junkyard along with 80 other dogs. After some serious TLC, he has blossomed into a sweet and resilient companion. Ben is gentle and playful, easily winning hearts with his trusting nature. He loves to chase after toys and will delight in playtime, but he also enjoys winding down. One of his favorite activities is going for car rides, where he’s content to snooze away the trip. Now, he’s looking for a loving family who can show him just how wonderful life can be. Currently fostered in Houston, Texas, his adoption fee includes transport to his forever home. If you want a leggy, loving companion with a heart of gold, Ben is waiting for you to take him on your adventures. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
