About Cricket
Meet Cricket! Cricket is an adorable 9-week-old puppy who's overcome quite a bit in his short life. He and his siblings were discovered living under a dumpster in South Texas, but you would never guess it from his sweet demeanor. As the smallest of the litter, Cricket stands out for being the most affectionate little guy. We know his mom is a 25-pound Poodle mix, while dad’s identity is unclear. Given the stray dogs in that area, we believe he might have some Lab in him, making Cricket a charming rescue version of a Labradoodle! He has a soft, curly coat inherited from his mom, which adds to his cuddliness. Though it's difficult to predict exact sizes, Cricket is likely to grow into a medium-sized dog, falling somewhere between 35 to 50 pounds, possibly on the smaller side given his current status as the runt. Cricket loves playing with his brothers and is quite fond of his toys. What truly distinguishes him, however, is his love for affection. He thrives on being close to his humans and soaks up all the love he can get. After his challenging start, Cricket is now healthy and ready for a forever family. He'd thrive in any loving home that can offer the training, snuggles, and joy of raising a puppy. He’s currently being fostered in Southern Maryland.
