About Blanco
Meet Blanco. Blanco’s journey started in a tough place. After being left behind during a family divorce, he found himself tied to a porch where he was exposed to the heat, leading to severe weight loss. Thankfully, he was rescued, but even in boarding, he struggled without the comfort of a real home. Now, Blanco has landed in a safe environment where he's finally starting to heal. This calm Great Pyrenees male is incredibly sweet and forms special bonds with the people he trusts. While he may take a moment to open up, once he does, he delights in affection and enjoys long walks. He stays composed around barking dogs and appreciates his time outdoors—though he prefers to return inside to lounge on his cozy beds. Blanco is protective of his personal spaces, having successfully spent time with other dogs under careful supervision. He also has a sensitive side, particularly when it comes to thunderstorms; he finds solace in a secure, quiet spot. Given his past, he appreciates patience and kindness, especially when it comes to handling his feet or ears. With the right person, he’ll shower you with loyalty and warmth. Blanco simply seeks a loving home, a comfy bed, and a human to call his own. Give him the time he needs to trust you, and you’ll find a loyal companion ready to share in life’s moments.
