About Penny

Sweet Penny is a little shy girl with a big heart ready to love and be loved. While she gravitates towards people, she’s still working on her social skills. In her foster care, she’s finding her confidence, and when she feels comfortable, her playful and silly side comes out. Penny enjoys walks and is fantastic on the leash. She has a big appetite, particularly for scrambled eggs mixed with her wet food. Penny doesn’t get along with cats or larger dogs, but she has a friendly inclination towards small dogs. Fully potty trained, she would likely thrive in a home with other doggy friends. This sweetheart needs a patient and gentle adopter who can help her continue to come out of her shell. At around 10.2 pounds, she’s a senior dog, aged between 7 to 10 years. Currently at Pleasanton Valley Humane Society, she came from Stockton Animal Services after being found as a stray. Penny is up-to-date on her vet care, including a recent dental cleaning, which is important for her ongoing health. If you’re interested in adopting, this could be the start of a beautiful journey together. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
