About Robin
Meet Robin, a 62 lbs bundle of Giant, Goofy Love! This 11-month-old male Great Dane mix has spent far too long waiting for a forever family since his early days in a South Texas shelter where he and other puppies were surrendered and at risk for euthanasia. While he's been patiently waiting for nearly a year, it's clear that Robin is a special boy who's simply longing for a loving home. Robin is a loyal and affectionate dog who embodies a playful spirit. He loves meeting new people and has never met a stranger—he's as friendly as they come. His big personality matches his size; he's a joyful, energetic pup who adores water! A kiddie pool is like a paradise for him; you'll often find him splashing around with pure joy. He's great with children, and his big baby demeanor makes him the ideal companion for families. Robin enjoys socializing with other dogs, so if you have a playful canine friend, he's sure to fit right in. However, if he’s the only pet, you'll need to ensure he has plenty of opportunities to play and socialize, whether at dog parks or daycare. Training is a work in progress for Robin. He's leash trained but can pull, and he’s learning that gentle greetings are best to avoid knocking over people or objects in excitement. He’s crate trained and mostly house trained; a little patience as he transitions to a new home will go a long way. Robin thrives on adventure—he loves car rides and is always up for new experiences. His ideal home understands that he's still a puppy who requires daily exercise, consistency in training, and lots of love. After playtime, he’s more than happy to settle down beside you. This sweet and silly boy is ready to find a family that will cherish him. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will make you smile every day, Robin might just be your perfect match.
