About Snookie

Snookie is a middle-aged gal with a big heart and a little extra to love. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender because her family could no longer care for her. Originally weighing 120 lbs, Snookie has made fantastic progress on her health journey, dropping down to 88 lbs. That’s an impressive 32 lbs lost, and she's proud of it! She walks well on a leash and is housetrained. Historically, Snookie has lived with small dogs and gets along well with them, as well as cats. She may be shy initially and take time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she becomes your loyal shadow. It’s been delightful to see her playful side emerge with those she feels comfortable around. Snookie is looking for a patient adopter who can support her continued weight loss while providing the love she needs to fully settle in. With some time and understanding, you’ll discover a loyal and playful companion who wants to be at your side. Click apply to start the adoption process.
