About Nellie

Meet Nellie, a delightful 5-year-old Chihuahua who radiates sweetness and courage. Affectionately known as a deer-head Chihuahua, her charming upright ears add to her appeal. Weighing in at 8.6 lbs, she is the ideal lap companion, exuding warmth and intelligence. Nellie loves burrowing into a cozy blanket, often popping out just her little nose for a peek. Her loyal and affectionate nature makes her a great fit for any family, as she enjoys snuggling up by your side and following your every step. Though she's still mastering house training, Nellie is already crate-trained and gets along wonderfully with other pets. She thrives in a calm environment and enjoys car rides, making her an excellent travel buddy. A fenced-in outdoor area for playtime would be the cherry on top of her perfect home. Prospective adopters must be at least 21 years old, with all other pets in the household up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and on preventives, unless there’s a medical condition. Veterinary checks will be conducted to ensure a good match. Nellie's adoption fee is $275, which covers wellness vaccines, a fecal test, preventive care, and her spay surgery scheduled for October 15th. Louie Blue Rescue is dedicated to finding ideal homes for our fosters. Fosters are treated like family, and we do not adopt out if a pet will be kept outside in a lot or tied up.
