About Phoenix
Meet Phoenix! Phoenix is a lively one-year-old mixed breed, previously found tied up at a bus stop with her sister. Initially scared and timid, she has blossomed beautifully with the support of our staff and volunteers, learning that people can be trusted. This medium-sized girl has a playful, high-energy personality. She knows how to sit, loves playing fetch, and delightfully returns her toys when asked. Although she's still perfecting her leash skills, her manageable size makes it an enjoyable process. Phoenix has a friendly demeanor, getting along well with other dogs and often enjoying playdates with her sister. Once she establishes trust, she'll greet you with warm hugs. Phoenix does have cherry eye, which will be addressed when she is spayed and adopted. She has made significant progress from her fearful beginnings and now seeks a loving home to help build her confidence even further. Prospective adopters should know that we recommend resident dogs meet any new canine family members. When coming for a dog-to-dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccinations. Ready to meet your new companion? Visit us in Greensboro, NC any day from 12-4 PM, except Tuesdays, no appointment needed. Click apply to start the adoption process.
