About Aster
Aster is a gentle six-month-old pup, born on March 25th to her mother Gloria at a nearby shelter. She and her five siblings came into the rescue when they were just a few days old. Aster has a thoughtful personality; she often observes before diving into new experiences, but once comfortable, she eagerly seeks attention and affection. She's quick to wag her tail and greet visitors with warmth. Playtime is a delight for Aster, especially with her doggy foster siblings. She enjoys running around but prefers playmates who are gentle, as she's not overly physical. Curious and friendly around cats, Aster has done well living alongside her feline friends. Her sensitive nature shines, and she flourishes with patient, positive guidance, making her best suited for a home with respectful children. Aster loves companionship and would thrive with someone who is home frequently to bond and play together. She's crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and her leash training is coming along nicely. Treats motivate her, making training a breeze. This sweet girl loves squeaky toys and emptying her toy tub, but she really comes alive when water is involved, happily jumping into her foster family’s pool to splash around. After a day of fun, Aster enjoys lounging in the sun, soaking up the warmth before drifting off for a nap. With a thick coat likely suited for cooler climates, Aster is projected to reach around 65 pounds, similar to her mama Gloria. Fully vetted and microchipped, she's ready for a loving family. Out-of-state adoptions are welcome, and there are no extra fees. If Aster seems like a match for you, don't hesitate to apply!
