About Frida
Meet Frida. Frida raised a whole litter of puppies and got every one of them adopted. Now it's her turn. She stands out with her swirled coat of black, white, and caramel, which looks even better when she rolls over for belly rubs. Her dramatic head tilt is a sight to behold, responding to even the most mundane sounds, like the toilet flushing. According to her foster, Frida is house-trained and trustworthy, having had zero accidents even during long workdays. When left alone, she naps comfortably on the couch but keeps an eye on things. She sometimes moves shoes around and has chewed one stuffed animal, so close the bedroom door when you go out. More active than you might think, she enjoys fast-paced walks and takes time to sniff her surroundings. A few minutes of zoomies at the dog park are followed by her quick ability to calm down when asked. Treats motivate her, making her eager to learn commands like sit and paw at mealtime. Just be careful with leaving food out, as she can help herself to anything sitting on the counter. Frida thrives as your loyal shadow, following you around but content to keep her distance when you’re busy. She's good with dogs, playful and friendly with everyone she meets. Though a bit cautious with new people initially, she never shows aggression. When excited, she expresses her joy through "love attacks" filled with kisses and gentle nibbles, especially when greeting you. Because of this, a home with older kids would be best. Frida's ideal family enjoys daily walks, doesn’t mind a constant companion, and has a treat jar handy. After caring for everyone else, she's now ready for her forever home.
