About Jax

Meet Jax! This handsome 7-year-old, 37-pound mixed breed, has a friendly and playful personality that shines at his foster home. Jax is currently living with two other dogs, and they all get along famously—sharing toys and playtime, as well as cozy spots on the couch. He's a well-mannered guy who enjoys lounging while his foster mom works from home and goes right into his crate when it's time for bed or meals. He walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car, and knows how to sit on command. Although he hasn’t had many visitors, Jax has greeted everyone warmly at the shelter. His vocal nature means he likes to announce when someone arrives at the door, adding a bit of character to his already charming demeanor. While Jax is house trained and has only had one accident since he began his routine, he would do best in a home with someone who is around frequently or with another dog for companionship. He doesn’t have experience with cats, so that might be something to consider. Jax is still enjoying his time with his foster family, but if you think he could be the perfect fit for your life, reach out to arrange a meeting! This loving dog is ready to find his forever home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
