Scarlett is a large, female Boxer who is currently in need of a loving home. Although she is 5 years old, she is still young at heart and ready to experience life beyond the puppy mill. Scarlett is friendly with other dogs and good with children. She will thrive in a patient environment that helps her adjust to life outside of breeding. She is not yet house trained and would benefit from a fenced yard to aid in her transition. She is in Monticello, NY.

About Scarlett

Meet Scarlett. At just 5 years old, she is ready to leave behind her life in the puppy mill. The farmer told our volunteer that Scarlett has "aged out" of his breeding program, and now we’re seeking a foster home for her sweet spirit. Scarlett shows friendliness with the male dogs she lives with, particularly a little Beagle, and she's eager to learn what it means to simply be a dog. Like many mill survivors, she thrives with patience, kindness, and a safe environment. A fenced yard would be a plus since she’s not yet used to leash walking for potty breaks. We hope to find the perfect foster or adoptive home for Scarlett soon. She’s available for adoption throughout the Northeast, including NY, NJ, CT, RI, VT, ME, PA, DE, MD, and NoVA.
