Meet Sophia. This 3-year-old Border Collie is a gentle soul who transitioned to TRUAA from a challenging breeding situation. Initially shy, Sophia warms up to those she trusts and reveals her affectionate side. After spending a year in our Paws in Progress program, she's shown incredible growth; she’s kennel trained, walks well on a leash, and can even ride well in the car. Sophia gets along well with dogs, cats, older kids, and even farm animals like chickens and goats. While she enjoys being around others, she needs a patient family willing to give her time to trust and settle in. Once established, she'll happily follow you around and cuddle up beside you. Sophia is already spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped, as well as on heartworm and flea preventative. She's ready for that loving home she deserves.
