About Roy

Meet Roy, a quiet and watchful soul who carries a story of resilience. I first encountered him at a gas station while feeding a colony of cats. At first, Roy kept his distance, his eyes filled with fear. He would run away at the slightest approach. With time, trust blossomed, and he bravely walked into the trap. Thanks to the dedicated team at St. Francis Rescue, Roy was neutered and received essential medical care. The vet discovered he has microphthalmia in one eye, along with an elevated third eyelid in the other. He also bore deep wounds from encounters with other cats. Despite everything, Roy remains incredibly sweet, indicating he was likely a pet once, abandoned and left to fend for himself. Now resting in a cozy bed, perhaps for the first time, he serves as a testament to the power of love, patience, and kindness. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
