About Roxie

Roxie is a charming 48-pound Pit Bull Terrier who will be celebrating her 6th birthday on October 6th. It’s time for a special birthday wish: Roxie deserves a foster home to aid her recovery, or even better, a forever family where she can be cherished. Having cohabitated with two other dogs, she has demonstrated that she’s a lovely housemate. Roxie walks well on a leash and has a delightful personality; she's gentle even when accepting treats. This sweet girl is simply looking for love and a comfortable home. Although Roxie joined us with several medical issues requiring attention, including a skin infection and a heart murmur, her heartworm test came back negative, a relief for everyone involved. Once she is feeling better, we will schedule her spay. Roxie is house trained and ready to be a wonderful companion. If you could be the one to offer her a loving home, apply to bring Roxie into your life today!
