Meet Halle. This affectionate girl was found injured and alone, but she's on the mend in her foster home, eagerly awaiting her forever family. Halle is an 8-month-old pit bull mix, weighing about 45 lbs. With her beautiful brindle coat, she draws attention wherever she goes. She’s crate trained and has proven to be housebroken with no accidents in her foster home. Halle loves her walks—she's well-behaved when attached to a gentle leader and enjoys exploring the world around her. She's very food motivated and takes treats gently, showcasing her pleasant demeanor with every person she meets. Though she’s friendly with other dogs while out, it's best for Halle to be your only pet at home. She struggles to read cues from other dogs, often trying to be the boss. A home with no cats or small animals is a must. Kids aged 10 and up would be the best fit for her playful yet gentle nature. With some regular exercise, Halle flourishes and would love to accompany you on hikes or runs. After her adventures, she enjoys curling up in her dog bed next to her foster mom.
