About Tux

Meet Tux! This energetic 6-7 month old Border Collie is about 30 lbs and was found as a stray in rural Kansas. After a brief stint with a family, Tux returned to rescue because he needed more attention than they could provide. Now in a loving foster home, Tux is thriving. He's friendly with everyone, from humans to dogs, and showed no interest in cats during his vet testing. Tux adores toys, especially squeaky ones, and enjoys sharing everything with his foster sister. Fast and athletic, he might just excel in sports like flyball or agility. Tux has great recall, walks well on a leash, and is eager to learn new commands. Though he’s house and kennel trained, he thrives on cuddles and loves spending quiet time with his humans. This little gem is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to find his forever home. Tux would do well as a solo pup or as part of a family with another friendly dog.
