About Ivy
Ivy is a charming 2-year and 5-month-old Beagle and Australian Shepherd mix who found her way to the shelter as an owner surrender. She brings a lot of love, cuddles, and kisses. Ivy enjoys her walks, but she can be a bit spirited, often getting distracted with the zoomies and running in circles. Despite needing leash training, she responds well to treats and knows how to sit on command. She's crate and pad trained, and she thrives on squeaky toys and nylabones. Coming from a home with a fenced yard, she was allowed on the furniture and enjoys baths. Although sheβs good with dogs and children, Ivy does not get along with cats. She is currently being treated for separation anxiety. Her adoption fee covers her spay, heartworm test, current vaccinations, deworming, heartworm and flea prevention, and microchipping. For residents of Sandusky County, a dog license must be purchased for an additional fee at the time of adoption. Come visit Ivy at the shelter to see if she's the perfect fit for your family! The Humane Society of Sandusky County is open Monday through Friday and Saturdays. Don't miss out on meeting your potential new best friend! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
